Annual Memorial Day G.I. Photo Notice
FROM THE AMERICAN WAR LIBRARY
Annual Memorial Day G.I. Photo Notice Memorial Day is approx 73 days away. But every year we must begin this notice in advance to ensure that you or any member of your family who served in any branch of the military has abundant time to email a G.I. photograph for free installation in the G.I. Photograph Museum of Honor. As you know, there are two types of veterans... there is the "Two-Holiday Vet" and the "Full Year Vet". The Two-Holiday Vet only remembers or thinks about their military service, or the military service of a family member on Memorial Day and Veterans Day. The "Full Year Vet" thinks about his or her military service, or the military service of a family member every day of the year. That is why whether or not you are a Two-Holiday Vet or family member, or a Full-Year Vet or family member, you should make sure that a military-era photograph of yourself or a family member is installed in the G.I. Photograph Museum of Honor so that your family, future family members, or anyone looking for the person in the photograph can easily contact you directly. As always, since July 4th 1988 when The War Library was established, photo installment is free. Photo viewing is also free to everyone and anyone anywhere around the globe. To obtain the battlefield tested secure software (also free) to access The Museum, go to this URL: http://www.amervets.com/software.htm For more info about The Museum's photo-installation policy, go to this URL: http://members.aol.com/veterans/warlib3.htm (or the alternate site: http://www.amervets.com/warlib3.htm).
