Honey Springs Battlefield Reenactment: Saturday, March 19, 9-3

Takes place at HS Battlefield, on HS Battlefield Road, north of

Checotah, OK.
Fort Towson, hosting "Park Day" 4-2. Fort Towson is near Doaksville, OK, capital of the Choctaw Nation, where General Stand Watie surrendered.-the last Confederate General to lay down arms.

Fort Gibson, OK is hosting a spring "bake day" on March 26, using the original 19th century post bake oven.

Fort Washita, near Madill, OK will host the annual Fur Trade Rendezvous March 30-April 3 with reenactments, storytelling, traders, etc.

The Keylocko Cattle drive is being planned for the end of April, at the Keylocko site in SE Arizona.
