Corporal Clarence Innis: Remembering D-Day

Dear Military Researchers:

Florida State University's "The Institute on World War II and the Human Experience" is building an Oral History library. Please cut and paste the url directly below. For some reason the whole url isn't working.

http://www.fsu.edu/%7Eww2/african-american-stories-wanted.htm

Included in its archives is the fascinating profile of Cpl. Clarence Innis. (Laundry Company 463rd). His remembrances give a rare look at the support operations on the English side of the Channel during D-Day. Its first page shows a handsome young man in dress uniform. I wish there was more information about his remembrances of the Battle of the Bulge.

Enjoy and admire the life of Clarence Innis and click on the URL below.
