I've been helping a friend research his paternal lines and information on this site really gave us a lift.

My friend knew his father had served in WWI because of on old photo of him in WWI uniform, nothing else. We found his father on the Missouri site with the outline of his service record. The result of your posting......one happy researcher and one happy friend of a researcher.
