All I have is what the NARA sent me in his pension application. I don't think he served in another Illinois unit after Company D of the 67th regiment. In fact, he specifically avers in an affidavit that he hasn't served other than the 67th and 55th. His Illinois unit disbanded after about 3 months. Then somehow he traveled to Corinth Mississippi to join the 55th. That part is a mystery to me.
