Searching for letters, journals, and other personal documents referencing the life and military service of William Netson, who served as principal musician in the Fifty-fourth Massachusetts Infantry. A resident of Niagara, New York, at his enlistment, he survived the war and settled in Norwich, Connecticut. He died in 1912. Any and all help appreciated.
