I got this information from a site at Ancestry .com.It reads
Brown Lockett (1881) Dec. 7,1881 Choctaw Mississippi registered last day of registration. National Archives Alanta Georgia.
That is all the reading said about him.my question is which state would the registration appear in? I have not been able to locate him. are would he have been omitted.I have a brown Lockett in my line who would have been to old for the registration being born in appox.1855 but I am curious this may have been a son to my Brown Lockett. since many of my Lockett's lived or passed thru Ms.to other parts of the country. Also the name is not extremely common, I would like to further research this person.
any suggestions help would be appreciated
