372nd Infantry WW1 Documentary

To Everyone:

We are still struggling to get producers interested on the idea of filming a documentary on the 372nd in WW1 as well as Black units in WW2.It seems that many wish to focus on the same generic White units that were already well publicized during the war.Blacks are still left in the cold. The History Channel turned us down last year. They woudnt even look at any material sent. For WW2 we had recommened the 92nd Division, along with giving them names of living vets who wanted to talk, historic info etc.

I urge all of you to contact any one that you know producers, actors, etc. to support these efforts.Just look at how many Black WW2 vets we are losing. They are going fast and all that history is going with them.Time is running out.But is time for Blacks to act and stop focusing on films that bring us more negativity like these drug, hip hop, crime related crap that seems to be the main stream.

We have great things that our people have fought and died for that are long over due in recognition.Jim Ball and I have discussed this for many years.
