Selma, I thank you for your answer. I thought I had responded,but I noticed today that it must not have gone through. I am looking for a Kittie Washington or Booker. I have always been told that her maiden name was Booker. I am beginning to wonder about that. The only place I have found her was in the 1880 census with her five children.under the name of Kittie Washington.Her children's names were George,Jacob, Warner, Allan(my grandfaher)and Julia. I think Julia must have died young, because she's the only one my aunt can't remember. I think Kitty or Catherine must have died around 1894 because I've always been told that my grandfather paid for his mother's funeral when he was 19 years old which would have been between 1888 to 1894 depending on what you believe about his age.
