Trying to look for any living descendents of Valerie Granger & Frozine White. Both lived in the Lafayette area before migrating to the Houston Area sometime in the 1930s. They had two known children, Martin D. Granger and Annie Granger Simmons who lived in the Houston Area until their deaths in the 1950s to 60s. Frozine or Euphrosine White was the daughter of Martin White & Felonise Barnabe, free persons of color from St. Landry Parish near Arnaudville,Louisiana. Martin White served in the Civil War along with his cousin, Casimir Sam, both free men of color. Casimir Sam was the uncle of my gg grandfather, Aristide Sam.
