I don't see any census records under the spelling you have - but do see this record:
LOUTHER, WILLIAM (1870 U.S. Census)
Georgia , LAURENS, DUBLIN P O, Age 23, Male, Race: Black, Born: GA
Series: M593 Roll: 161 Page: 352
Do you have any dates? Birth,death etc.
I do see both spellings listed in slave schedules.
