Glad I could be of some help. I am not sure that Mr. Harris' book was ever published. He died in 1999, and his collection of material on AA's in Henry County was donated to the Bassette Public Library. There was a woman who worked there by the name of Pat Ross who was very helpful to me when I started researching in the early 1990's. She might still be there, I have not talked to her in a couple of years. This is the link to the Bassette Historical Center, which has the John B. Harris Collection: http://www.bassetthistoricalcenter.com/ The following are the marriages: page 128: March 28, 1866
page 158: Dec 21, 1882
page 165: March 21, 1869
page 171: Jim Milner; 24, single, Pittsylvania, Henry Co. Farmer son of Jim and Mary Milner ...to
page 171: August 23, 1870
Selma Fantastic!!!!!!!
If it is not asking too much, I would love to have marriage information about the Stone daughters. I have the names of their husbands and, in some cases, their children. I am most familiar with the youngest daughter, Parthenia (Theny), who was my Great Grandmother. Do you know if it is possible to purchase a copy of the Harris/Millner compilation? Thank you, again!!!! Judy
