I am researching several FPC with the Thomas surname that lived in Albemarle, VA. They are, Fountain Thomas who was bond out until the age 21 on May 8 1855. Sarah Thomas who was bond out until the age of 18 on May 8 1855.

Also a Nelson Thomas who petitioned the court 6/6/1842 to remain in the commonwealth.

And lastly John Thomas who appeared before the court on April 3, 1863 to prove he was a FPC born of parents who were free before May 1806. He is described as having an Indian complexion.
