August 16, 1814 - proved November Court 1854
SALLY FAIN is a woman of color and wife of JACOB FAIN, deceased and is very old. Wills all she has to SALLY & POLLY NORWOOD, daughters of AMY NORWOOD. She wills that JOHN BULLOCK have 1/2 of all land, household goods, house, all stock, crop for the exclusive use of AMY NORWOOD, who she raised and after her death to go to her children and managed by JOHN BULLOCK and never controlled by her husband WELDON NORWOOD; to my former husband's brother JAMES FANE, a life estate in the land whereon he lives; To JAMES COUSIN, son of JENNY COUSINS when of age, a horse, saddle and bridle if he continue to live with me but if not he gets nothing; My two old slaves, SILLY and DICK to be provided for and SILLY to go to live with her relatives at THOS. L. WILLIAMS's and board paid out of my estate; All other property and everything that was left with JOHN BULLOCK by my late husband to be kept in his care and I drawing from estate for my support for as long as I live, and MR. JOHN BULLOCK, excr.
