Has anyone found the freedom papers on the free Lafleurs of color from St. Landry Parish? Narcisse Lavigne Sr. married Emerante Lafleur & Julien Jacque married Severine Lafleur. Jean Bt. Lafleur was found in the 1840 & 1850 St. Landry Parish census. Can anyone help establish their connection & tell me when they were freed? Thanks GRM
