Hi James,
Have you found this reference in your family? I am assuming that you trace your folks to the NC Nickens who lived in and around Gates and Hertford Counties? I am interested in any info you might have on this reference. My husband is a Copeland and is related to the Nickens, Weavers, Collins, Boons, etc.
