Thanks for your very interesting comments. My Bolton family also lived in Louisiana. I am aware that the "Red Bones" from South Carolina lived in Calcasieu and Vernon Parishes. I have Lalita Tademy's book "Cane River." She was assisted in her research by a very capable genealogists. I will have to take another look. Thanks
