Hello all,

I finally put my hands on the property and tax records for Albemarle County, Virginia from 1800 to 1822. This is my first encounter with such records. They seem better than the 1820 & 1830 Virginia Census schedules. I am trying to draw a line from the 1886 obituary of my great great great grandfather in Ohio which says he was from Albemarle County, Virginia to someone in those records. Perhaps the strongest and only clue is the name of one of my ggg grandfather's younger children. I have nothing, absolutely nothing else at the moment to go on but this information and these records. Any suggestions?
