Would you happen to have any more information pertaining to the Ladds as seen here in a previous posting by Doug? I am looking for a John Ladd. Any leads on the Ladd family in general would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

"Isaac M. Ward married Sarah U. LADD, 01-28-1869, in Randolph County, Indiana by A. J. HAWLEY.

Isaac is listed at least once in a census record as Isaac M. BOLDEN. Enumerators were wont to do that in census records (list all children under one name).

Generally speaking there are groups of WARDs in Clinton County, Ohio and in the Weaver Settlement, Grant County, Ohio as well as the two settlements in Randolph County, Indiana.

Collateral/Allied names are LADD, OUTLAND, HORNADAY, ROBERTS, STOKES, STAFFORD, STEWART"
