Your brother is the better choice. He can test for your father's line of males and your mother's line of females. You can only test for you maternal female line. I suggest FTDNA. They are having a reduction in some of their prices thru the 30th of June. Also, if you join one of their projects you will also receive a reduction in price. The 12 marker Y DNA test after joining a project is $99.00.
