The photos on the page are actually old and are in the case of Richard and wife, copies of copies, etc. Recently, a cousin gave me some old original photos taken of Frank and family in 1909. On that photo he looks extremely dark and no mulatto features can be seen on him, where as his wife photographed much much lighter. I made the discovery on the census many years ago. I hadn't thought about it again until I received the new photos the beginning of this year. The 2 half brothers were middle children, Richard being the oldest. It almost appears to be a case of "sibling rivalry".
