I've been searching for information on my great-grandfather - HIRAM GOINS m. Rebecca Minerd. While I would appreciate any information on him, I'm very interested in finding when/where he died. My grandfather, Jesse Floyd Goins m. Reatha Arcelia McCuen, said his father left the house one day, never to return. This was probably around 1918-19, as Rebecca died in 1919 and we obtained a copy of her death certificate which did not list any info re: husband Hiram. My grandfather said Hiram was a bounty hunter. He didn't know whether his father was killed, or ran off and started another family.

Denise has been most helpful in providing me with census info on both Hiram and Rebecca's parents. I am truly grateful for all the assitance she has provided. However, we still have not found where/ when he died.

Would appreciate any information from fellow genealogists.
