Trying to find out any info on Martin Sam or the descendents of Martin Sam who was married to Mary Brown and then Coralie Colet. Martin Sam shows up in the 1900 louisiana census in Iberia Parish living with Colet and their children. I also found some listings relating to the said Martin Sam:

I believe that this Martin Sam is the son of Adolphe Sam and Philomene Aubrie, free people of color who lived in the Lafayette Parish area in Louisiana. Adolphe Sam was one of my gg grandfathers(Aristide Sam Sr.) uncles. He fathered two children with Philomene named Martin(the age of this Martin Sam matches the birth record of the Martin Sam I have. Also he named one of his children Adolphe Sam. This might be a clue.) and Clemence Sam.
