I am researching Pleasant Roberts, born Christmas day
in 1789, and his wife Hannah (maiden name unk.) born in 1794. They
lived in Lawrence County, Ohio beginning in the year 1828, after being
manumitted from the slave inventory of Quaker John Ward in Jan. of 1827.
The Roberts were the parents of 7 children:
Betsey/Elizabeth
Elvy
Paulina
Laura
Penelope
Charles
John

I am ultimately trying to find the parents names of both Pleasant and Hannah,
but would love to share information with anyone researching the same family.
