Slave/FCP Records-Granville Co.-NC State Archives

While doing some searching on the North Carolina State Archives MARS
database, I came across some records pertaining to Slaves & Free People of Color that might be of interest to Granville
County researchers. Note that this describes the contents of the files listed in the Call Numbers, and there is a bit of the details about some of the names which can in themselves be useful; however to see the actual files, one would have to visit the State Archives to view the files in their entirety:
