hi, I am a direct descendent of the Guillory and Donato families through Jean-Baptiste Guillory I,the son of Marguerita, who married Catherine Victoire DONATO in 1789. Also, I am a descendent of slaves of Martin DONATO, who freed them in his 1848 will. They were Olympie(ggg grandmother), her twin sister, Meurice, and a little girl, Marie(gg grandmother). They also had an older brother, Sabin, who was freed at birth by Martin Donato in 1816. The mother of Olympie, Meurice, and Sabin was a slave of Martin Donato known as Celeste. Which one of Marguerita's grandsons did your ancestor have children by? And when does she show up in the catholic records as free? It is possible that Martin Donato might have freed her, or someone else freed her after 1819.
