I received my ggrandmother's death certificate and with it, the names of my gggrandparents. The names are: ANDERSON OGLESBY and LOUISA OGLESBY. Their daughter, my ggrandmother's name was Mahala. They were born in SC according information on the death certificate. If that surname is familiar to any one, please let me know. The time period for Anderson and Louisa would have been 1850's or so.
Louisa Oglesby is supposedly 1/2 Cherokee and the surname Oglesby is among the FPOC surname lists.
