I am searching for information regarding my great-great grandparents, Anderson and Cynthia Harris of Scottsville. Some census tables spell Cynthia name "Synthia". They had a number of children one of which Cornelia was my great-grandmother. I have been unsuccessful in locating any information prior to the 1880 census. Anderson was born approximately in the 1830s and Cynthia was born around 1842.

Some of the children's names are: Dollie, Bell, Nannie (who later wen to Baltimore), Charlie, Champion (Champ), Willie, Marcia (or Marion). I also found a Georgia listed as a great-grandaughter. Over the years it's been said that Cornelia Harris was of Native American heritage but we have not been able to find proof of that. Cynthia is referenced as mulatto and perhap's she was of Native American heritage.

Any information of direction would be greatly appreciated.
