I'm hoping someone could do a lookup for me in the first 2 volumes of "Maryland Freedom Papers" by J. Hynson. Vol. 1 covers Anne Arundel Co. and Vol. 2 covers Kent Co. I've never seen the books so I don't know if they're organized by slave name or the owner's name. I'm trying to find out if there are any listings for freed slaves by the names of John, Benjamin or William HANSON who would have been born in the 1780s-1790s in MD and freed before 1830. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
