Virginia, as I'm sure you know, there are several individuals named Sarah Taliaferro or Sarah Tolliver. Some of my Sarahs are also known by the diminutive "Sally" or "Sallie."

When I search for ancestors, it helps to know approximantely when and where they lived and then to scan for every possible variation of the name in that location. I've seen the names Tolliver/Taliaferro spelled at least a dozen different ways.

I have found three Sarahs that could be related to my direct ancestor, but I don't know whether they belong to the branch or generation you're seeking. I might have more information on these individuals if anyone rings a bell for you.

1) Sarah/Sallie Taliaferro/Tolliver -- wife of Moses Taliaferro/Tolliver. They lived in Richmond, VA between 1870-80, then moved to Providence, RI where they had both died by 1907.

2) Sarah Ellen Taliaferro/Tolliver -- daughter of Moses and Sarah above. She lived with them in Richmond and later in Providence.

3) Sarah Taliaferro/Tolliver -- wife of Jeff/Jefferson Taliaferro/Tolliver. They lived in Fairfield, Henrico County, VA in 1880. I think they also lived in Caroline County, VA in 1870.
