Richmond DAY was my gg grandfather and George DAY's eldest. I also have a copy of that bio as it appeared in a copy of the history of Person County. Indeed the two families are intertwined; Richmond's sister Mary Jane was married to Chesley BASS and his brother Elijah was married to Adaline Bass. The COUSINS are another family that seems to have close ties to the DAYS. If you are willing to share I'd be most interested in what information you might have about the DAYS of Granville Co prior to 1850.
