I completed an interview with the Philadelphia Enquirer on February 11th. The article is scheduled to run on February 22nd, and should be very informative. The article is about my book, Notes And Documents of Free Persons of Color. I am on a book promotion tour in Pennsylvania for the month of February. I spoke at Octorara High School yesterday, and had a wonderful reception. The High School is predominantly white, but the students were doing assignments for black history month. One student came over and hugged me, and told me she had just read my book. She also called me her hero, and that felt wonderful.
