I am seeking the parents and siblings of George DAY.

The earliest records I have seen include the 1846 marriage bond posted in Person County, NC between George DAY and Emily COUSINS, which was witnessed by William DENNY; a listing in the 1848 Person Co. tax rolls and the Person Co. NC 1850 census enumeration which shows George DAY aged 38, Emily aged 23, Richmond aged 2, Mary aged 5 months and James aged 22.

Family history says he was born in Granville County, NC. No information regarding his parents or how he attained his freedom prior to emancipation survives.
