I GOT IT! It feels good to see my 4th Great and Fifth Great Grandfather's names on a document. A document that attests to the strength of family. I found William Pettiford's Will on the FamilySearch page you gave a link for Deloris, and William Day's name is there. Paul Heinegg recorded in his books those who were named; it just feels good to see it with my own eyes. So, I'm grateful to Paul and You, Deloris and everyone on this Forum who cares enough to share. We are the descendants of a persecuted people who looked beyond the attitudes and prejudice of their day and built a foundation, with their lives, that will not fail!
