Thanks Arlene. Rebecca states that she was born in KY, as were her siblings, but the man I presume to be her father (George Carr) states he was born in MD. I wonder how, or why they moved to KY. The last sib to be be born in KY was born there in 1833, and none that I can find were born in MD. They must have been there SOMEWHERE for the 1820 and 1830 census. I can't even find them in the 1840 census, although Rebecca gave birth to Clara Kelso in 1836 in Alexandria, LA.
