Hi Robert. None of those names were counted as "other free" in South Carolina between 1790 and 1810.
Larry Koger in his Black Slaveowners (in South Carolina) names a free African American named George Lawrence of Charles Neck who was only able to free his son Charles who was one of many of children he had by a slave [p.49]. And a Benjamin Lawrence was an African American carpenter in Charleston who owned slaves.
