Hi Deloris. The funeral director finally called me back. On the orbituary, it did mention that Jim Evans was his father. I guess he used two different name. Also, Mattie's middle name was "Roberta". It mentioned also that Claude was born in Monticello, GA. Maybe the family moved to Morgan Co later. Not sure. On the census record you told me about, some of Jim's children didn't match. Could be that they used different names? I'm still trying to find out more about Jim/James. Thanks again for your time.
