Re: Looking for other E3a (M2) 's

I tested E3a (M2) using Family Tree DNA. I wanted to know if my family was part of the Claiborne family from Mississippi. After discussing this with one of the members of that group, and not matching any one in the Claiborne project on FTDNA's site, it appears that my family is not part of the Claiborne family, although we were very instrumental in their attainment of their wealth. I am very disappointed in my discoveries, however, it is great to know that there are other avenues to explore, such as Portugal. According to my markers, I matched exactly with an individuals who is Portugal and African. And it turns out that many Africans migrated to Portugal and then made their way up to US (via slave ships, I assume). So if anyone matched African and Portugal, please email me.

Thanks!

Dan
