My Dad's Y haplogroup is probably I1c (FTDNA's I2) according to Whit Athey's Haplogroup Predictor. I1c is mostly found in northwestern Europe which is consistent with the African Ancestry Patrilineal test results that indicated matches in England and Germany.

His mtDNA haplogroup is L*. Still waiting for National Geographic Genographic results for particular assignment. African Ancestry matrilineal test found matches with the Mende and Temne peoples in Sierra Leone, the Kru people in Liberia, and the Fulani people in Guinea-Bissau.
