I did my genetic tests about 1 1/2 years ago.

My Y dna test came back as R1a1 and family tree has my mtdna as L3* but I think it might be L3d.

R1a1 was little bit confusing because this haplogroup originates from Central Asia but my matches are in England.

I've been getting the run around when it comes to my mtdna haplogroup.
I read a paper done by a professional geneticist who says my mtdna is from Senegal and another paper that has it coming from Ethiopia.
