E3a (M2) Mystery

I originally tested with the National Genographic Project and was classified as E3a (M2). I then submited my information to African Ancestry for further analysis of my Y Chromosome polymorphisms. My readout was identical to sequences from Ewondo and Bamileke in Cameroon and Mbuti in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
This is where it gets interesting. When I go to http://www.ysearch.org/ to compare my readings with other E3a markers, all of the DYS 389-2 readings are between 28-33. Mine is 17 and I'm wondering why mine is so much different from everyone else. I
compared mine to everyone on the site of approximately eighty.
Thanks for any ideas you might have.
Ed
