What other DNA test did you take to determine the 12/12 match to three other persons?

Historian Phillip Curtain have estimated that 25% of Africans shipped to North America were from the Bight of Biafra region...a region comprising of Nigeria, Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, and Gabon. See source below. Many were brought to Virginia ports...something like almost half of the Africans shipped to Virginia were from this region, especially Nigeria, according to several sources. It's likely that Africans from the Bight of Biafra region were also brought to Charleston, S.C. as well, but in lower numbers compared to Virginia.

In my direct maternal (mtDNA) lineage, I've traced back to South Carolina as well. But, my furthest-traced maternal ancestor in that line is my 5th-great-grandmother who was born c. 1770 in Virginia. She was taken "down South" to South Carolina sometime around 1800-1815. It may be also possible that those persons' S.C. ancestors could have originally been from Virginia?

I gotta stop all of this rambling...but this DNA breakthrough and learning about the African roots of African-Americans are addictive! :)
