FULANI de tal/ DNA/To: Ali(AQ) I hope you read this post. TAL IS A HEBREW WORD AND IT MEANS DEW. IT DOES NOT MEAN SO AND SO, OR JOHN DOE. THE MEANING OF TAL BECAME LOST. THE FULANI WERE PASTORAL, THEY BELIEVE THAT THE NIGHT TAL (DEW) MAKES THE GRASS SOFT. THE COWS ARE TAKEN OUT EARLY IN THE MORNING, THEY WOULD GRAZE ON THE SOFT GRASS THAT WAS MADE BY THE TAL(DEW), THEREBY INCREASING MILK PRODUCTION. THIS WAS VERY IMPORTANT TO THE FULANI, THUS THEY WERE ASSOCIATED WITH THE TAL(DEW). THUS, FULANI DE TAL. DEW OF FULANI. I AM A DESCENDENT OF PUERTO RICANS WHO WERE DESCENDENTS OF ETHIOPIANS AND ALMORAVIDS IN THE SOUTH OF SPAIN, ON ONE SIDE OF MY FAMILY. I hope I was able to shed some light on the fulani de tal. peace!
