Scrapbooking early 1900's heritage photo and note
My aunt Lillian Sutton-Taylor left a wealth of family history information in the form of oral histories, photographs and notes about her research.
I am doing a series of scrapbook pages on each of my family tree surnames. This page focuses on a photo from the early 1900's in which she left a detailed note that described where the picture was taken , who was in the picture , who was not in the picture, that all the family photos were lost in a fire and that she acquired this photo and others from family and friends, birth order of children, address of home etc.
In her collection she had the negative and various sizes of the photo. I think the note and duplicate of the photo was done about 34 years ago (time stamp on photo).
I will document the photo in a word document with the transcription of her note, along with footnotes with dob and dod of people pictured as part of my research.
There is no limit to how you can showcase and preserve your family's history.
