Re: Honoring our Ancestors...

Honoring African-American Ancestors who have gone before us is a very important part of the Culture. This is true not only in the United States but on the Continent and throughout the Diaspora.

The lack of interest in maintaining African-American Cemeteries; or sections where African-Americans are buried; is a mirror of the lack of appropriate interest in the history and development of the Culture relating to Africa and the Diaspora. It is important to recognize the links and maintain the integrity for the past, present and future.
