The pictures that I received of my great-grandfather's grave got me to thinking that this old cemetery needs to be preserved and how to go about preserving it. I would appreciate any ideas that you may have of how I may go about this and what steps need to be taken.

The cemetery is in Georgia and I live in NC.

Since it doesn't look like I'm going to be able to attend the family reunion, I did ask one of my cousins to bring the subject up to the family. However, I have a feeling that this will fall on deaf ears or either they will only think about our little small portion of the cemetery and not the big picture. Per the volunteer who went there for me, it's situated on about 3 acres.
