Good news! I've located the cemetery. Back then it was under the name of Erin Place Plantation(cemetery). It is now listed as Greene-Rhodes Tract cemetery. I contacted the Louisville,GA historical society and they forwarded me a map from 1879 of the exact location, and a list of legible tombstones in this cemetery. Several members of my family are listed dating back to 1809 based on an old family bible.
The president of the Louisville historical society says that the cemetery is currently located on the lands of a company named, International Paper Co. He also states that one must have a key to get into this property. Currently the hunting rights are with a Hunting Club and their deer season won't be over until mid January. He lists that the OLD Town plantation which is now owned by a lady.
We shall visit this cemetery and take pictures sometime in Feb 2004.
