Do you know of any Guillory's in Haiti? My gg-grand father lived there from approximatley 1859-1879. His name was Jean-Jerome Guillory and had migrated there as a child with his family from Louisiana just before the beginning of the Civil War. According to family lore, his father,Emmanuel Guillory, returned to Lousiana in circa 1865, but left Jean-Jerome behind because his (parrin) godfather in Haiti was a very powerful man.
