Gloria, I am looking for my paternal grandfather, Adam Reamer born circa 1888 in Louisiana, Mississippi, or Tennessee. I have not been able to locate him on the US Census before or after 1920. However, on the 1930 Census I located an Adam Reamer born about the same time in Barbados. He was living In Miami Dade Florida and married to a Janie. This could possibly be my grandfather. How do I search for ancestors in Barbados? Is Reamer a common name there and do you know the origin and country from which African Reamer's came?
