I think we should take this conversation off-line. Since 2005 I have attempted to explain to several experts the ties the from NC to West Indies are far stronger than what's been documented. For example, several of my family members are aware of another group of West Indies immigrants near Murfreesboro, NC. As history goes, "Dr." Jim Jordan was a former slave from Haiti, born around 1872. After emancipation Mr. Jordan somehow "imported" scores of undocumented workers from Haiti, to Charleston and into Murfreesboro, NC.

For the record, both of my parents were born in Norhtampton County, NC and 89/90yrs of age and are of full body and mind.
